Short Video – Intro: The French and Indian War
Begin Reading Chapter 7 (Teacher read aloud)

DAY 2
Divide students into groups of 6
Groups will debate disadvantages of siding with the British OR with the French.
Students will fill out a worksheet following the debate explaining why / why not they agreed with their stance during the debate.

DAY 3
The students will watch a short video re: the history, geography and economical situations.
As a class we will discuss Cause/Effect and share examples

Day 4
We will discuss ways in which the colonists resisted the British Policies.
Skills and Strategy Worksheet – Work in groups of four

Day 5
Conflicts Grow Discussion/Chapter Reading
Each group will receive a worksheet with a 3 column chart to fill out
Groups will need to list: Laws Passed, Items taxed and Colonist Reaction
Teacher will assign each group a conflict and each group will act out their conflict for the class.
